why Do You Need an Anti-Legionella Valve?
Anti-Legionella Valves (Commonly known as thermostatic mixing valves) are designed to prevent the growth and the transmission of the Legionella bacteria in water systems that can cause a severe respitory illness called Legionnaires' disease, Which in some cases can be life threatening.
The purpose of the anti-legionella valve is to maintain the water temperature at a level that inhibits the growth of the Legionella bacteria. These valves are typically found installed in hot water systems, particularly in healthcare facilities, hotels, public buildings and other larges apces where large numbers of people can be exposed to the water supply.
By maintaining the water temperature outside of Legionellas suitable range, the risk of the bacteria developing and spreading is reduced drastically, ensuring that the water is safe to drink.

Anything purchased under £50 will incur a £6.95 standard 2-3 day delivery charge.
PSD also offers a next working day delivery service at a charge of just £12.50* (on order over £50), provided we receive your order before 3:30pm Monday to Friday (excludes Weekends and Bank Holidays).
